Default Shipping bumper covers?

Anyone have any secrets as far as shipping bumpers? The cheapest I can find for an XF bumper (wrapped in bubble wrap, plastic wrap, and then taped around is $184 via Fedex ... 72x19.5x22 ....

I paid $85 shipping when I bought it originally and just assumed that's around what it would cost when I send it... seller shipped via SmartPost, but I think that's only an option for business accounts.. any ideas?

Contact Greyhound bus lines, they did my last one for $80ish.

Make sure it is packaged EXTREMELY well before handing it over, though

Good idea. $49 to ship from Little Rock to OK.

Also, THANKS for the idea.. I'm selling all of my things and moving 3,000 miles with only what fits in the Crossfire. That idea will allow me to ship all of my books and posters without breaking the bank.

Love this forum.

Only what fits in a Crossfire? Then I hope it's a coupe.

When I moved back to Florida from Virginia I shipped about 20 boxes of clothes and personals via Greyhound. Then sold or donated everything else and flew down. A lot cheaper and I gave the agent in Crystal River some cash and he held everything so I could move them over several days. If it is fragile make sure it is packed well.

LOL.. long story short.. "somebody buy this or I'm going to have to trash it".. so I did.. and surprise surprise shipping makes you wanna cries.. We were looking at refunding and maybe goodwill for the cover till the greyhound came up.. So if anyone in the Tulsa area needs a bumber cover later on I'd be willing to pass on the deal of the centry on one..baring me needing it with all the construction stop and go and skid to a stop driving going on daily... Pay it Forward right?
