The other day I was at a stop light getting ready to turn onto the freeway and a homeless guy asked me if my car was a Crossfire. I said yes and he said man thats a badass car Most people don't know what they are. I was totally surprised that he knew exactly what I was driving.

 

Most people have no idea what a crossfire is but last year in Yosemite a climber who has been traveling the world, climbing mountains and scrounging food from campers for the last 40 years came up to us and said, "Is that your Crossfire parked down there?" I said yes and he said, "Man those were a beautiful car, too bad they did not take off." He then walked off to start bumming food from others.

It was even more weird because he had no idea about anything that had really happened in the world the last 40 years. He said he got his news updates from people at camps. But every nice car that drove by he new every bit of information about it. Must have been a car buff in his youth and stuck with it.

 

Yeah that totally caught me off guard...My first thought was that he must have been a car guy before his situation changed...
