Two weeks ago, I registered 114° while rolling down the interstate at 80mph. Car was up to temp and was not "falsely reading" due to sitting for a while. I took a pic but the focus on my Android phone wasn't playing nice. I have a very clear picture of the temp gauge reading 110° the day before that.

We had INSANE heat in Tennessee the last week of June, and the first week of July.

My SRT hated it. IAT's had to be in the mid 150's while cruising, my car had zero power.

Today's high was 78° (lots of rain, thank the Lord) and the car felt like a monster again.

Can't wait till October

We have had similar temps and still no rain for over a month, drought has been declared. No watering lawns, washiung cars, etc. For someone who likes a green yard and a clean car, this is not particularly awesome.

I had many over 110 but were more fluke based on pavement temps and the like, but here is a little glimpse...

I measured the sun exposed hood surface temp on my black coupe. 186 degrees F. Used a Harbor freight infra red thermometer that cost me $40. Then I heated my $2 Hormel Compleat lunch. Chicken and dumplings. on it. gary

Mine always reads +36 no matter what temp it is outside. I guess I need a new sensor or something.

This is the hottest I've seen on my thermometer. I took this pic in June around 4:30 in the afternoon after the car was sitting all day in the sun on an asphalt parking lot. One good thing about my Crossfire, the A/C works really good...

This is the hottest my car has been in a while, indoors with the AC on.

Nice work, Beaner.
