I'd like to express my grief for the horrible occurence in Newtown, Connecticut. My sorrow is hard to put into words, but my prayers and thoughts go out to the people there, and plan to cherish and love my family much closer then I already do. God make them strong and bless them.

 

I am feeling the same way, Iblubyu. I am devasteded by the loss of the children - and also by the loss of the adults . My heart aches for all those involved and affected by this tragic occurence. I can only hope that strength comes from their personal beliefs that will help then through all this. And you are right - cherishing those whom we have with us, and letting them know it is so very important, not just now, but always.

To You, O Lord, we humbly entrust these children and adults, so precious in your sight.
Take them into your arms and welcome them into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping nor pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

How sad. A terrible tragedy.

 

Tragic.

Even sadder is the fact that the coverage may make some other nut try to kill more.

My heart goes out to the families affected by this tragedy. The president said it best. They had their entire lives ahead of them.

 

This was a rough day. It's on facebook that some nut attacked an elementary school in China and went after little kids with a knife as well.

Evil everywhere.

Lord, I have no words for these kind of events, only nausea.

 

My nausea comes from not only from the sad news of this and other events like this happen, but from the constant barrage of the media's posting of the history and background of the perp. I think this type of media attention (the perp) contributes to the next nutjob's 'oneupmanship' mentality. Damn them for constantly flashing the nutjob's stuff, it only emboldens the others to 'do one better'.
