As such open discussions may offend some, I won't post it here. But a link to an interesting review of the debate.
Where the Bill Nye v. Ken Ham Debate Went off Track

It's simple,..... really.

If you do not wish to hear an opinion on the subject,,,,don't click the link
If you are offended by the subject don't click the link.
If you believe the topic belongs somewhere else, well it is somewhere else. So, don't click the link to get there.

There is a principal Which is a bar Against all information, Which is proof against all arguments And which cannot fail To keep a man in Everlasting ignorance That principle is contempt prior to investigation.

Religions try to keep man in everlasting ignorance and they are still doing a pretty good job at it.

Perhaps you are confused sir. Religions are man made.

And therefore must be considered questionable, fallible, and corruptible.

People of faith must watch for such evils, and with an open mind.

Even about Creation.

Apparently you can sin all week long, then go on Sunday, pay your offering, tithe, donation (whatever you want to call it) and be absolved of your sins. Then start all over again. Is this true?

No actually, one cannot. One who is concerned for the showing of ignorance can remain quiet or speak and remove all doubt
The picture you paint is insulting to believers and out of respect for other members here, some of them your friends, it should remain in the mind of it's creation.

It is this kind of insulting behavior that causes such threads to unravel and be closed. Apparently your intention right?
Please have some respect for you fellow car buffs.

Nice try......I'm simply asking a question about the topic that you are already discussing as you seem to have knowledge on. No insults meant to anyone here.

Apparently your reply below is not insulting to the believers??.......

Getting back on topic. Who has actually seen the debate? I thought Bill was the clear winner here. Ken was way way way unprepared.

Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham - HD - YouTube

I agree. Ken was lame armed only with tired explanations But I could not say why as well as the article I posted.

Nothing should be insulting to true believers there. Religions are man made. Every dam one of them. The gift from God is faith.

Nice try yourself.

Snarky responses seldom ring thru as sincere. Jus' sayin'

Oh gee......ya know what, it just hit me in hindsight, .........maybe this isn't the best place for us to be posting our beliefs/disbeliefs about religion........or politics.

Piously talk about religion one minute and with the next breath ask which concealed gun and bullet combination is the best to kill somebody.
The same people on this forum show up for both discussions.

Then perhaps you should stop posting your thoughts about it here.

Jus' Sayin.

BTW, so far no one has spoken anything about politics here. But you.

Please, with all due respect, whether it is ignorance of the subject or an intolerance of the subject, that certainly doesn't' belong here on the forum, would you not agree?

Maybe if you dony want to talk about religion you might not want to reply to this thread. The title is very clear as to what the general topic is.
