Default Creationism Vs. Evolution: Part 2

I had to go out and missed the excitement.
I can only say that Charles Darwin was English so he could not be wrong about anything, so there.

I don't understand why the other thread was shutdown. It wasn't political.

And Sparky really? glad you were able to really contribute to that thread over there. Maybe one day you'll realize that the general section of the crossfire forum isn't going to be about crossfires.

I still donot understand the concept that in order to notsee something, i must be banned when all one has to do is responsibly take commandof their mouse and click it to move on. Or am I falsely presuming there are adults in the room.

The forum is populated by females and yet it seems ok to post nudes on a rock or slutty chiicks sexualy posed on a Motorcycle. Neither haveing anything to do with a Crossfire yet eagerly excepted by the Mods here. This despite compaints from some members.

Can you say hypocrisy?

With all due respect guys, if offended by a topic, just ignore it and move along.

BTW 180, I support your blind belief position on Darwin 100%

That wasn't my point George. I apologize for giving you the wrong impression.

I think I'm well known here for an appreciation of that photo. I am not offended and do not wish to suggest such "art' is banned. I am offended by the selectivity of the Moderators and some members here about what constitutes offensive posts.

And frankly, I sorta like slutty gals on motorcycles also. A choice I get to make.

I don't care for discussions about Cigar smoking. I really care little about a host o subjects discussed here. So, as an adult, I just ignore those conversations. If this redneck nuckle draggin' idiot can do it could we not presume.....so can anyone? If one doesn't like a subject, as Nick pointed out to Sparkie, their posts are worthless contributions to the subject at hand. It simply is not that hard to click a mouse and move on.

BTW, That picture, please put it back!

Damn missed something again......but, it really doesn't matter to me at all. I prefer to discuss ANYTHING but POLITICS because whether you think I should move on or not, I just can't....lol. I must speak my mind...I must...I can't move on. I despise what this country is becoming and will speak my mind. It won't be pretty and sure as hell will be X rated. So much for the women on here. It will become a blood bath. So, even though I missed it, I am sure the moderator made a wise decision.

Bill, the thread wasn't about politics. Calm down.

As for the gals, they can participate or ignore.

This... I tend to agree, with both sides. I don't function well when silenced on any subject I feel passionate enough about to speak on.

Antithetically, I come here to escape all that crap. I don't watch TV, and selectively choose which news stories to follow. These days even the Weather Channel over-dramatizes the slightest gust of wind.

And as for the subject at hand (so that I'm not hijacking)... I have always believed that science is the rational expression of the world around us. Science cannot create existence any more than a hammer alone can build a house.

So I sit in the middle. I think you can have evolution, at the hands of creation. Again, think about the hammer and the house.

I think that science will eventually create life in a test tube, it took billions of years in real life, maybe not that long in a lab. Whoever said life was going to be easy.

They do it all the time. But again, science is a tool, the resources to do so have been present all along. At least, that's how I see it.

would say you hold a credible position. Unfortunately not safe in the comfort of either extreme but safe in the comfortof confidence that your position is logical. I tend to agree with it.

At the end of the day, either science will explain the wonders of the diety we refer to as God,...... or God will explain to each of us, the genius of his science.

In the meantime best keep an open mind, or the truth from either side, will never find comfort in it.

You know I was yankin' your chain.... Anyway.... I can only say if you can get on a site that shows you what the Hubbell telescope shows you....you gasp as we are nothing but a pin point in a vast universe. This world would do well just get along and live in peace, because we amount to just about nothing in the real universe. There is more out there than any of us will ever know or understand. Even if none of us believe there is a God, Christianity isn't a bad way to live your life or to have a discipline such as Christianity in order to live a certain way. There are a lot of religions out there or cults, or whatever you could live your life by, but to believe in nothing, well I think that is a problem. No checks and balances in our lives. No one to answer too or for, for the bad things we do, other than maybe law enforcement..lol. Society needs something to guide it...or help guide it. If we have evolved, there seems to be some missing pieces.... But this old world is a lot older than even the scientists thought, so who knows. We may be just from the planet your Anus....

It's easy, the world was created to evolve.

Sometimes people talk out of the place you think we come from.
