Default 55 Inch 4K TV

My wife wanted a TV for her exercise room. Went looking for something like a 42 or 43 inch expected to find a deal for $300 or so. On the Saturday after Black Friday we stopped in Nebraska Furniture Mart.......they had a Hisense 4K 55 inch Ultra High Definition Smart TV 120 h for $399.99 ......sign said 1 year parts & labor warranty so I paid $70 for a 5 year warranty. When we got it home I discovered it had a FULL 4 year in home parts & labor warranty from the factory. So next day I got my $70 back. We put it in our bedroom and moved the 46 inch one to her exercise room.

On Netflix and YouTube you can find some things that have been filmed in 4K. Mind blowing ultra HD. $399.99 55 inch........unbelievable!!!!!

My wife just bought a Samsung Ultra 55" HD 4K as a Computer monitor. It also does video from cable and disk.

Sadly, we paid a bit more.

Got a new router and sound bar as well.

You are right, the Picture is Mind blowing. There is a "Sweet Spot" where, at the right distance, the images appear almost 3-D.

Have never heard of Hisense. Manufacturer 4 year in home parts and labor warranty at no additional charge? Have never heard of that either. Learned two things today.

I know what ya mean about a mind blowing HD experience
I saw a 70" Samsung TV showing this streaming on the screen at my local Sam's Club
I stood there and watched it 4 times simply amazed at the clarity and color
I could not believe the screen resolution although the price tag on this TV was $3700

This is a COOL Video though on any screen !!!

I think Hisense is trying to break into the US market the way Hyundai did.....offer great warranties. I'm under the impression they are taking over Sharp. Don't get me wrong I would have bought a more well known brand if the price/warranties were comparable.....but $399.99 for a 55 inch 4K with a 4 year warranty......how can you go wrong?

No way anyone made any profit from this deal??????

I think if you can find any for sale anywhere the price has gone up to about $750-800.
55H7B was the model number.

Walmart.com has it listed for $648.00.......but it says "Out of stock".

Great find.. I recently bought a 48" Samsung 4K open box from Best Buy for $400.00 for our sunroom. Upgraded my Netflix for 4K viewing great pic. Very happy. Last Christmas, my wife and I decided not to buy each other gifts instead buy what we both wanted, a 3D TV. Ended up with a Sharp 70". Love watching movies in 3D but 4K is sharp clear picture , closest to 3D without wearing 3D glasses. :-)

I don't think anyone broadcasts in 4K yet. We are able to shoot in 6K with the Red Epic Dragon camera mounted on an X8 drone. Lots of money in the air to fly RC. Yes, we have the FAA waiver. Peace
