Road trip at end of Oct.
well the wife and i are going on another road trip, we are leaving around the 22 of Oct. going to meet people in middle and north Fl. and in Ga. going to meet up with George (ala_xfire) in Ala. then to my mother's grave site ,, then to Tenn. see Elvis , maybe in to Kentucky . if you are close to my route let me know maybe we can meet for lunch or dinner we all have to eat right. jim
Note: i will not be in my (World fastest crossfire), but will be in my other SRT 6, delivering it to Ala. then wife & I will take her car and we keep going.

hi steve , did not receive a pm,
but to update : on our trip to birmingham al we stopped and had lunch with (ala_xfire,) George ,what a great guy, and if you have not seen his car , it is like it just came off the showroom floor. while we were having lunch people were stopping next to his car just looking and looking.
will meet up tomorrow with another member and give him the srt-6 I drove up.
next stop will be Gadsden, then to sand mountain.

I think we are going to Kentucky, after we see Elvis in Tenn, then north to maybe to bowling Green , then north toward Lexington to 75 to go south maybe i could go through Louisville , how far south do u think u could go?

Looks like no KY runs this week. I guess I will miss you this trip. I will be down for a week in January to Marco Island. Might have to take a day and come see you....

that sounds great, marco is a little over an hour away, .,we could meet in the middle but there is nothing but everglades from Marco island and Mami /Ft Lauderdale .
we may not go to much north in Kentucky so Florida may be the best.

not yet but it looks like a nice island, it is close to I 95 , i am not sure which highway we are taking back to fl. either 95 or 75 most likely . jim

Jim...you couldn't picked better weather my friend...enjoy the late fall.... Sometimes the temps can dip in the mtns though. I had some police buddies get stuck in Gatlinburg in a freak blizzard about 15 yrs ago... So, you never know lol.....
