Default The Coming Eclipse 8/21/17... Made In The USA

This is not a sales pitch. I don't sell these so don't ask.

This is just an FYI post about my company's unique connection to a major celestial event.

August 21, 2017 much of the USA will witness a full and total eclipse of the Sun. Starting in the north west and traveling to South Carolina. Any state along that line will see a total on near total eclipse. Most of the continental USA will see a partial.

Either way, be careful when viewing this event.

Be ready and be prepared.

We do not make the glasses here, that is done in Tennessee near Memphis. My company is currently packaging millions of these solar safe viewing glasses. They will be available in stores soon. I am currently packaging for Wal-Mart.

This is an American made product. Yeah, we beat China for the order. We have been at it since this time last year.

Here's a link.

We should be in a prime location to witness this major celestial event. South Carolina is right smack in the middle of the viewing path and is the last locale within CONUS to view this event in August. It's on my calendar!

I actually am a fan of the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Seriously on my contender list back in 2007. But then I found my Crossfire.

Be glad you found the XF. I will give the eclipse this. My son could not blow it up, but I replaced virtually everything else. LOL....

Sounds a lot like some of our Crossfires.

Spent the weekend at Tapoco Lodge and stayed for the eclipse. Spotted two Crossfires, both red roadsters. One also stayed a couple nights at Tapoco had a "Bernie" sticker on the rear!!

This was my second. THe first was 1970, a total over southern Michigan. I was ten.

I will be returning to Michigan in 2024 for the one, in April of that year, it goes from TX to MI/OH then on to Canada.

I bought my 2007 Crossfire from a Mitsubishi dealer in KCMO. Original owner traded it for a new Eclipse Spyder.

Same impact here is SC. Totality occurred at 2:38 PM. We were sitting in lawn chairs out front in driveway with a clear view of the eclipse. Weather was a beautiful day and being able to witness this first hand will always be something we'll remember.

Nashville was set up in carbondale IL at the University.
In 2024 when eclipse come back the intersecting point is 1.5 south of carbondale.
We had 2 min 48 sec of being able to view without glasses.

I was around for an eclipse in the fifties, as I recall it was a nice bright day and then it got dark as the sun disappeared and we all missed the eclipse.

On to Canada eh? No problems there we are in the dark most of the time anyway.
In some countries just the very sight of the sun through the rain clouds is cause for excitement. Coming from England I will not mention it as being one of those countries.
Get out the brollies and wellies and enjoy it my mother said.
