Default Checking in

Hey everyone!! Just letting everyone know I'm still alive and kicking. Same job, same gorgeous wife, new house, driving a Rogue at the moment (company lease, LOL).

How has everyone been? I ran into the guy that bought my SRT-6 in 2014, he's doing well and still experiencing Perma-grin nearly three years later. So far he's only had to replace the RCM and the HVAC blower motor. So, he's a happy camper.

I took a quick glance at prices, SOOOOO tempting to jump back into ownership. Still the best bang/buck vehicle out there.

IF I were to get back into one, are all the vendors still, well, vending? Specifically Needswings, Speedriven (intercoolers), and LM21 pulleys. I think if I were to get back into one, I'd keep it super conservative and just do crank pulley, single CAI, intake manis, and chuck the rest of the $$$ at refurbishing stuff like wheel bearings, driveshaft bushings, etc.

Alright, enough about me -- how is everyone else?

Cheers,

John

I know that Rob (Needswings) is still here, and Chris (latemodel21) too, but not very active lately.
I do not know about Speedriven.

Doing well here John
Several of the regulars that you probably knew may not be online much here anymore other than myself
I still login every day and browse through the threads
As far as vendors Rob over there at Needswings is still active and still supporting our cars with even more products than he had before.
It would be nice to see you back in an SRT and back here online but for now I follow you on Facebook
Thanks for checking in here I'm sure others will be happy as well that you have

Thanks man!! I know how to get in touch with Chris, if the need arises

Good to hear from you, Gary!! I've done a poor job of staying in touch (on here) but I'm definitely considering a (3rd) Crossfire. Of course, the difference between this one and my last two is that this next one will be a proper weekend toy. So, zero rush to get into another one, which helps with the selection process. I've yet to own a roadster, so I'm tempted to hold out until I can find a nice SRT version

Good choice. Fun squared. ( But on the downside, you would then own a platform capable of the sum total of Crossfire problems, with the exception of the 6 speed ones ! )

Very true, but at least I can afford to let this one sit if I get too annoyed. The last one got me to/from work, so the repair timetable was a bit more stressful LOL

Nice to hear from you, time sure does fly. You list your NA being wrecked in 2011, it does not seem that long ago.

I still miss that thing.

What's funny is that I could pick up a N/A for like $6K now... that's stupid-cheap and VERY disproportional to the amount of fun it gives.

The only combo that would make me re-think the SRT would be Oyster Gold Roadster with Vanilla interior and 6MT. It would be slow as hell, but man... what a looker.

Glad to see you're still doing well and posting. Always enjoyed bantering with you

Hi John and Kim. Always good to hear from you guys.

Crumpy's SRT went to our son in Connecticut and we now have an stone stock SRT convertible. I'm still the roadster with a stick despite our plans to sell the NA 6 spd and just have one Crossfire.
And I still avoid Nashville with it.

So long as Kim comes with you, bring that Rogue to the Dragon. We'll give you a pass. And wait for you at the end of the road to catch up.

BTW, I hate the SRT Roadster and Crumpy doesn't drive it. Hint hint.

Hahaha!! You'll have to do a LOT of waiting if I'm in the Rogue. That thing barely gets out of its own way!!

So glad to see you still active on this forum. You are still Kim's favorite, BTW.

What color is the SRT roadster? You might have my attention...

Aero Blue. Runs and drives fine. Small issue with the Top function I haven't sorted and the cup holder won't stay down. Simple stuff. Bought it from a Forum member last fall.

If I get what I paid, I'm fine letting it go.
But I'm in no hurry either.
I'm on the Forum about once a day but no where near as active as in the past.

PM me if interested, even casually.

And it's a color I love... *interest intensifies* LOL

Better than a PM, I'll just give you a call soon. Would love to catch up, and I can talk faster than I can type (and I type 60 WPM)

It would be wonderful to count you and Kim as attendees at the Dragon or where ever, John.

Thank you, Mark! I'm trying to get my garage sorted in the new home; I want to make sure the 3rd bay is nice and inviting for whichever car is lucky enough to call it home
