Done! It is very easy, you might need to look into this! They have tried this before regarding the programming in the 'black boxes' but so far we can still modify programming.

Done! My Representative here is a little weenie; not sure he'll be of any help. But I will continue to share this with others.

Where is this BS coming from that the gov't can simply make new laws at will?
DONE!
LOL Mark, This has been the gov.'s Motus operandi since the beginning. Back on point; I sent out the filled in petition to my representative "TWICE". We'll see if I get in trouble or not, ha ha. Spread the word to get others to sign up.

Disclaimer: residents of FLORIDA and KENTUCKY may receive an error stating that the letter is too long. This is due to a limit imposed by one of your Senators. Please shorten the letter prior to sending.
Then I tried to shorten the letter to no avail .. Evidently one of the senators ain't on our side !

Think about the impact of this legislation beyond modifying tunes/code! Everyone SHOULD be pushing to stopping ANY intrusive acts (& allow modify/change) to any nanny oversight controls of PRIVATE PURCHASED PROPERTY (combatting outrageously expensive vehicles already realized)! The way congress works, it negotiates to get what it wants passed. This means those who you think have your best interests gives some. Nanny oversight systems require large amounts of $. Giving 'some' with regards to personal property that is to be governed by the majority, means YOU LOSE! Right now legislation is considered to 'install child/baby systems' be installed into 'X' vehicles, to assist those who are too busy to remember they have an absolute responsibility to not leave kids in a vehicle. JUST WHEN WILL IT STOP! Voting this latest assault (with) vehicle systems (in every vehicle), when you don't have babies/kids, burdens monetarily all a share of those who have to have the systems (irresponsible operators). It is JUST THE LATEST, in an ongoing system to take responsibility of control a DRIVER must have! When no one is responsible any more, insurance premiums will rise to cover all those who have no responsibility (learned or impressed). VOTE NO, and start a (the) campaign to give the right of a simple basic vehicle, to those who can drive (not just sit and let the 'computers' do it). I'll never see it..., but maybe?
BTW, already voted to stop this 'self serving interest' item... People who push this kind of legislation (in my opinion) have either a personal or monetary incentive to limit people having the ability to modify any or all installed programming installed/programmed in their property.
