Default Had a scare last week

Well for the last 4 to 5 weeks i did not feel good i would eat and then have to go to the bathroom .
Finely I was convinced to go to the ER.( by the wife), after being admitted and over the next 4 days
and i think 6 different Doctors , i was told everything from surgery, to we can do nothing. I had colon cancer in
2004 and had a mesh put in, well one Dr. said the mesh was rubbing the intestine causing the problem
but could not do surgery ,the mesh has intertwined for too many years and we would make things worse.
Next Dr. #5 said he found diverticulitis, but in all his years this is the 3rd case of it being up this high in the gut.
was not that, now to next Dr. he said he found a bacteria that is not suppose to be there, i think he found it.
now I have been home for a week and things are getting back to normal.
Hope this helps someone with the same symptoms, don't for get I am 80. well almost , in Oct.we are celebrating
my 80th birthday at Orlando speed world, Sunday Oct 16 2022 from 11 to 2 pm rsvp to mbslp1977@gmail.com if u
can make it. jim

Best wishes for a full recovery. Was it caused by the bacteria?

Nice thought I guess but I always put my faith in a good doctor, the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Looks like a successful diagnosis finally occurred and a treatment plan started with positive results. Further confirmation that medical doctors are only licensed to "practice" medicine. Many times it takes looking around to find one that really knows his/her profession. All the best during your recovery process.

Yes, doctors are licensed to 'practice' medicine, when they get it right, they RETIRE (been saying that phrase/joke most of my adult life.). The nurses LOVE it, only the cool doctors laugh when they hear it. LMAO...
