wow: after 1 week of Chemo and radiation. I see it is hell,, between the Chemo killing your appetite and giving you nausea and then the radiation giving you a headache. the chemo goes into the blood system,, and the radiation goes to your entire head neck and jaw. and when i say goes into i mean into.
I would never wish this on anyone,, thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers .
I thought i was in good shape and the treatment would not effect me that much, well i was wrong, it does, can't wait until i am back 100%. jim

I have four siblings with, or have had different types of cancer. Esophageal and tongue were two of them.
this isn’t about them, I’m just trying to say, it was a challenge and they pulled through. SO YOU WILL TOO !!!!!
fight the good fight Jim. You have many cheering for you and the biggest is our LORD AND SAVIOR 🙏

Ok, hell is here ,the last 4 weeks I could not swallow , which no food intake
i was advised not to get the stomach tube which i think that was a mistake.
infact i lost 40lbs . along with the chemo i had radiation every day for 65 days.
that is why i could not swallow still very sore .
so i have finished my treatment, and need to heal. again they say another 2 months to heal
this is the bad part ,milkshakes , a bite of food and that is it.
I went from a strong 80 year old to a 90 year old, old man
i have not driven my car in 2 months , that i miss the most. jim

JIM.
obviously you are one tough man. the worst is over, and you will start to heal and get your strength back and be able to put your weight back on. You may feel older now, but people like you will bounce back. Your car will wait for you lol. GOD BLESS AMX1397. 🙏
