I just purchased a 2004 Saphire. Have wanted one since introduction. It is an autostick, black interior and the previous owner installed wood grain everywhere. I first did not care for it so much but have recieved many nice comments.
That said am I correct in assuming if the last digits of the VIN are 000903 that mine is the 903rd coupe built.
Are there any issues on such an early model that you are aware?
By the way I took it to a private airstrip she was still pulling at 136MPH. only reason backed off ran out of runway to brake!

 

That's right your Crossfire was 903rd built, as far as issues on early models i think all '04s have same issues click on the link for a list of tsb's.

I know with builds under 2,500 or so the spoiler goes up at 57 and down to 39. After that they changed it to 60.

 

On my '04 coupe the spoiler extends at exactly 65 mph and retracts at 39 mph.
