The 2006, 2005 and 2004 grilles are all the same. There are no aftermarket mesh grilles for our cars at this point in time. Do a search it has been discussed at length and there are a few companies that are trying to come up with something.

This one is available through Burtman's Industries. Go to their site and contact Jason B. He should be able to help you. In fact I think he's registered in this forum, so send him a PM. Just do a search on mesh grills, and you should run into his posts.

Damn. I like it, except I think the silver outline is a little too thick. :-/

I feel the same way so I photoshopped it and replaced the chrome surround with body color. Looks much better. At least they actually do make a grille.

Can you CF it, and perhaps add the middle spine?

You would have to check with Burtman about the center spine, but yes it could be coated with the CF. Less than $200 over and above the cost of the grille.

The T-Rex grille in the photo from FP is the one you can get from Burtman and other distributors. That's my Xfire in the photo; unfortunately, the photo does a poor job of giving you an idea of how good the grille really looks or how in proportion the mesh is to the size and style of our cars. I'll try to find some time to take some photos and post them here for you.

^^^ That would be cool since the mesh looks flat in the pics. I would hope that it has the same curvature as the factory grill. If not then I don't know. Anyway, you could use this as a jumping off point to custom fab your own surround since the hard part has already been done.

Many pics please.

Yeah the mesh is nice and it wouldn't be hard to add your own spine. I need pics from different angles though, especially from the side.
