I was interested in those who own a 2005 SRT-6 with 8 way seats...(driver).
I just purchased a '05-SRT 40 miles last week.

As posted by myself and calsxfire, the rear of the seat cusion
gives out, (motion) looking at it from the rear there are two springs.

The motion feels like the rear of the seat cusion is bouncing (springs)
not solid.

My Question: is your driver seat Solid with no motion...
as described...

The passenger seat is solid as a rock (no motion) 4-way.

Any others have this issue / input ?

I have a appointment with the dealer for eval...

 

Mine does not do that.

 

Likewise, mine has been solid for more than two years now.

 

Mine is solid - no motion.

 

Wait the SRT's have an 8way power seat?! I thought they were the same as the limited 6way driver and 4way pass.

 

The limited has awesome seats...

Not to beat this to death but may I ask the other SRT owners who responded if they pushed with their fist at the rear of the seat cushion while standing outside the car? The movement is slight....half inch to an inch compression.

 

i just bought some srt-6 seats to swap into my base the base of the driver seat is supported by two coil springs that will move ( bounce) with enough pressure
