Chrome Airbag Covers

Has anyone removed those little plastic airbag covers on the doors? I'm interested in installing the chrome replacements, but am concerned about how those little covers attach to the bag system. Any suggestions?

Ditto, also changed to the chrome ones, easy in and out less than 10 mins both doors.

Thank you...I thought that might be the case but wondered why the chrome ones had those center arrowhead hooks.
