replacing "aluminum" plastic?+green led's
I was wondering if there is a way to replace all of that plastic that is supposed to look like aluminum with a real metal version. I know there are companies that make products like this for other cars, but I was wondering if there was 1 that does it for the crossfire.
as for the led's i think im gunna get the IceLED FLOODs for illuminating the footwells... expensive, but amazing

There are some "stick on" aluminum covers for some of the center stack. They are like the typical woograin kits. They only adhere to the flat areas, they show the edges. That is the problem with our dash/console, there are a lot of pieces. That is what prompted me to get and offer the carbon fiber overlay. It covers each piece edge to edge.
We can do many different finishes from silver CF, to woodgrains, to solid colors. PM is you have any specifics.

How about just a nice matte black overlay?

I have been wondering about replacing the plastic also. What kind of modification is this?

Does it fully replace the existing plastic (i.e. do you take the plastic part out altogether and insert this) or is it just a sticker (it talks about self adhesive tape)?

Hey....check the small part of the steering wheel that is visible in the chrome center stack piece the company offers. That sure isn't OEM XFire.
It is a flat sheet of aluminum that is stuck on. It only covers the front part not around the gearshift, parking brake or cubby. It leave the silver plastic edges visible.

First post, recent buyer of 2005 Crossfire. I've been getting more information from SRT SIX and plan on shipping my parts off sometime this month to have them done in Carbon Fiber. Approximate time till done of 3 weeks.
I have a couple of questions on the removal of the various pieces. What can I use to remove the radio? I saw some type of keys in a diagram but don't have those. Anyone who has ever removed all the pieces of trim on the center console and could give any tips?
Thanks
