Choking Seatbelt
does anyone have a problem with the seatbelt choking them while the window is all the way down? it not only chokes me but bangs around on my chest. but if i roll the window slightly up it stops.. why did crossfire make the window so far down like its going to choke me to death while driving?
haha well maybe my bf when i drive a little fast.. im 18 years old and im 5'9.. i dont know why it would choke me though but it does.. like the wind catches the seatbelt from the top blows it back and forth across my chest and move up the seatbelt to my neck.. maybe its trying to give me a sign.. haha jk.. i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or it was just me
Raise the seat higher and bring it forward a bit? Just curious how you have your seat adjusted.
Also, you can "Lock" your seatbelt so that it won't 'flop' around. To do so... tighten the lap belt by pulling near the buckle on the shoulder belt, then while holding that tight, pull the shoulder belt out and allow it to snap back quickly. This should lock your belt in place and be snug.
I know for some people while daily driving this can be uncomfortable, but it's a far sight better than having a floppy seat belt in an accident. It takes a few miliseconds and a few inches of slack for the retractors to lock in a collision. If (heaven forbid) you get in one, you want that belt holding you firmly in your seat.
Hope that helps...

I noticed on my cpe. that it would vibrate on me with the window down. I started opening mine and just cracking the passenger side and it was better. Bad cabin air flow design. I think they want you to keep the windows closed and use the heat/air. Haven't noticed it in the roadster yet.
