Maybe you've been affected by the time warp?

I used Rudy's letters when I added the word crossfire in my trunk. I just opened the pic with microsoft paint, cut and paste the letters I wanted and made them to size and printed them out. It worked good for me. very easy to do the third or fourth time trying
. Thank you Rudy.

You may now be asked if you want to OPEN the file. Click YES.
If you have an un-zip program it will open the file and you will have the option to INSTALL the font.

Can you help? I lost a lot of stuff when my hard drive threw in the towel, some was backed up and some was not, usual story. Even HELP is no help if you ask the wrong question.
Only on the Crossfire Forum can you get Windows 8 support. Check out the following link to see how to display your file extensions. By default these are hidden. Not sure why.
Show or hide file name extensions - Microsoft Windows Help
FYI - .zip is now a native file type that Windows recognizes and has a unzip program as. Part of the OS.

The solution was as you stated, I had the extensions on at one time and somehow they were switched off.

I realize this is an old thread, but I'm looking for some help in getting this to work.
I've tried downloading every link on here with no luck. I don't get a dialog box so that I can change the file to .zip.
This computer is Windows 7. I have also tried it on a different computer with Windows 10.
Can anyone tell me if I need to download a program or what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks

This "Font" subject goes back to 2008 with the Mike in Orange and his contribution to the forum.....
"I've got a bookmark on my computer at home to a website with free hi res .eps images of various logos, including the Crossfire lettering. It isn't a font per se, but rather a vector graphic of the lettering found on the back of the car. This should suit your purpose for sign or banner making as vector graphics can be scaled infinitely without becoming pixelated."
Just my 2 cents....

Yes, the free version. I tried to open it with that and it didn't work.
Is it necessary to have the "Pro" version of Adobe? Can it be opened with another program?
When I download the file, I get a 10KB file.
Thank you for any help,
John
