Default Interior metal door pull peeling.

Just got an SRT-6 last week, and is in very nice condition for 28k miles. However, the one problem I've found is that the passenger side interior door pull is peeling on the back side. It's sharp enough, I cut my finger open on it when I slid it along the seam.

I've no idea how to even get the pull off to see what's wrong, much less what I might be able to do to fix it. Anybody with a similar problem or some repair tips?

There is a TSP out for that. The dealer should replace it at no cost to you.

mine was not actually peeling it was just left over plastic. and it was super sharp on the back of each grip(passenger and driver side) so i took some 1000 grit sand paper and ran it along the back a couple times. it smoothed it right up and you cant see it.

Thanks for the tips, I found the TSB number and hopefully I'll be able to use that for leverage. We bought it used, so I'm not sure how accomedating they'll be. On the other hand, it was an issue specifically on the contract for them to fix before we picked it up, so I'll see what the dealership will do.

I had my drivers side replaced at the dealership. To get to it they had to take the door apart. And easy fix. Good luck .

The dealership "should" replace it for you. They replaced my door panel at no cost.

Just a FYI:

Mine had a few scratches, so I replaced the silver cover piece that snaps on to cover the screws, too. The small piece costs $65 for the drivers side, and only $33 for the passenger side. They are identical, mirror-image pieces. I guess more repairs have been performed on the driver's side door, and the 100% increase in price is a result of supply and demand.
