Custom shift boots for 6 spd cars
I have been in email contact with Shift Style and they have apparently moved to England (although I am not sure where they were before, Mike - maybe help me out here?). In the process, they lost Mike's pattern and through a little persistance, they are going to use mine to create a new template. I will be shipping out on Monday and as soon as I get the finished product back, I will post some pics. Hopefully then anyone else interested can get rolling....

I've been in contact with them as well - just exchanged PMs with John (05XF-LVR) about this as well. Shift Style should be back up soon and making boots for the Crossfire with John's help! I really like mine - very clean, subtle mod that looks like the car should have come this way from the factory.
I decided to go with some alcantara on mine (what the hell, its free LOL). I have a black coupe and am having them do grey alcantara with black stitching, should be pretty sharp....
For anyone interested......
I just got an email from Shift Style - their website (:::: Shift Style :::: Home) is back up and running and they once again have the template for the Crossfire shift boot, presumably thanks to 05XF-LVR

Mike, per usual, you are dead on the money.
I got an email from Shift Style last night and they received my boot yesterday and are working on it as we speak.
I am more than excited to see the final product, especially after seeing the high quality of Mike's. I will keep you all posted and throw up some pics, new digi cam should be here soon as well.....

Mike,
Thanks for finding this. I think it looks fantastic.
Just went to their website and ordered one. They even take PayPal which makes it easy and $4.00 for shipping.

Got the shift boot last night and damn does it look good
I was a little hesitant on the alcantara, but it is top notch and looks great. I have the digi cam charging right now, pics tonight or tomorrow I promise....
Ok guys, sorry for the delay, my digital camera took a dump on me and I had to dig out the old one, so excuse the crappy pics. Here are the pics of my alcantara boot installed and uninstalled.
One thing I would recommend to anyone who is having a boot made. When you are installing, put the threads on the front of the boot and not the back (as it originally came). The stitching they do is so nice (especially if you pay a few more dollars and have some of their custom stitching done) that I want it in the front, not in the rear. I have pics posted both ways, let me know what you think. Thanks.
Installed with threads facing driver (opposite of OEM)

Installed OEM way with threads away from driver:

Shift style was absolutely great, shipping was a breeze and they halped me choose appropriate colors, stitching, and design.
They will do just about anything custom and for under $50, no one can even come close to this quality.
Any questions, just ask.
NO, I am in no way shape or form involved with the company.

I'm wondering if they could do the stitching in an "X", like... stitch down from the **** to each corner, rather than just to 2 of the corners. I think that would look really good, if they can do it
Funny, I just took the xfire out for a drive this am and since I changed the door panels and seats to the two tone - Cedar & Gray . . . I was looking at the shift boot wondering if I could get it in the cedar color !!! Heck two-tone Cedar & gray would be perfect !
Thanks for the post !
Cheers

Here's a company that does nice work, and custom work too.
Shift boot store - RedlineGoods leather shift boots

haha FP sssh, they don't have the Crossfire on their website, and they're running the same "let us use yours and we'll send you one free" deal
I was going to do that, if they'll ever contact me back :/

Use shift style, trust me, I did the run around with a few other shops and they do great work with fast shipping. For $40 or $50 (if custom) you can have a VERY high end boot made, and it will fit extremely well. One word of advice, if you have a custom sift ****, you will need to let them know and probably give some dimensions. I bought a momo after getting the boot put in and had to modify both it and the momo to get them to work together well.....
As of this morning, I do see a listing on shiftstyle.com for the Crossfire, and even a photo on the two-tone style page. The price is $35, which seems very reasonable.
Contact Shiftstyle, they are great. I know they have the patern because I sent them mine to make it from. They may not have updated their website yet, but I know a few other members have been successful and I am VERY happy with mine, and as you stated, the price is extremely fair for a handcrafted product with great materials....
