I would like to add lights under the console connected to the same wires that power the main interior light.

I like the way it fades when door is closed, and want the same effect. I have seen how to wire across the bulbs from the wiring diagram.

My question is this:

Does anyone know where/how the wiring is under the dash? Does it come down the driver's side or passenger's side of the windshield? Where does it come out under the dash, or does it go directly into the engine compartment?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
