Cup Holder Solution
This is my solution to the cup holder dilemma. I found using the factory holder a bit awkward. I mounted it a little low to keep from having to drill any holes in the center console.

Most any marine retail store sells these but most often there white. I have seen them in Walmart in the RV section. These are similar but the quality may be questionable? http://www.foreandaftmarine.com/50-79451.htm

Bill,
Bill,
Chuck, the carpet backing seems to be strong enough to support the cup holder using the the four self tapping screws that came with the holder. No drilling

I just came across this photo and thought "Did I send that in"? I have the exact same product and it works great. I did however mount mine slightly more to the front so as not to interupt the passenger seat travel.

These are everywhere. I got mine on ebay weeks months ago. About $5 - $8 a piece. I put mine up a little higher, on the side of the console, so it doesn't get in the way of moving the passenger seat front and back or the passenger's legs. Will leave screw holes in the console, so I won't take it off whenever the car is sold. My wife drives the car on a daily basis and uses the cupholder all of the time.
