Cord dash - opinions
Saw the interior of an old cord the other day - though that the machine turned dash - looked great.
Have seen several posts for carbon fiber dash overlays and resurfaced dash pcs, have even lloked at the wood overlays - but haven't seen anything like these. So any opinions out there? any ideas on how this could be done to a Crossfire.

Very cool Cord pics. Thanks. They used a wooden dowel in a drill press to get the effect. They coat the flattend dowel with a compound and lower the spinning dowel onto the metal surface raise the dowel, move it over and lower again, repeating row after row. It used to be done by hand but I'm sure it's automated now.
If I could find a dash kit like that I'd gladly switch from Carbon Fiber. Saw that in a couple of hot rods yesterday and it started me thinking.
