Default Fake dash button

I have to replace parts of my dash where somebody stole my cd player. The body shop ordered all the parts, but was not able to find a part number or replacement for the fake button that goes to the far right of the emergency flash button.

Any body know where I can get a replacement? They are all talking about using plastic weld and repainting the broken button but I'd rather do it right if at all possible. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your dash. It might be worth looking into replacing it with the "spoiler switch" if you can't track down the part number. I have been thinking of adding one to mine that would enable some secret electronic function of my car.

Edited: typo

Let me know and I appreciate it. I'd much rather just find a blank instead of them doing something that I know won't look right.

Dang, sorry to hear 'bout the damage.
If you need to buy the parts, remember that sowardcustoms is offering 20% on dealer parts. His post is here...

I am sure I have a button I can send you. What year is your XF? I assume you don't have heated seats if it is the far right button that is blank. What all are they replacing?

Pm me

Randy

It is a 2005 crossfire.

They are replacing the entire dash panel that goes down to where the stick shift is. They are also replacing the silver bezel, the emergency blinker switch (although I think that mine still works), and pretty much anything else that goes to the center of the dash. Except the fake button they couldnt find part number for.
