Passenger Air bag

Where does the passenger side air bag come out of?

Above the glovebox from the center area of the passenger dash. Their are some pictures of wrecked XF's that show the airbag released. Also on the door there is a 1" clip where the side arbag comes out. Hopefully, you will never see them or fell them deployed.

There is no normal outline for where the passenger air bag comes out of, it just rips out of the dashboard, that may be why your confused about it.

I always keep my seat belt off just so I have some space and movement to dodge the airbag. It would probably hurt getting slammed in the face with an airbag.
