Sorry about the cross post, but didn't get any response in exterior / lighting

Has anyone had problems with their switch gear?

The high-beam flasher on my 7k mile car has quit working. Highbeams do work in the constant-on "forward" position of the turn signal stock, but do not work when pulled toward me for flashing mode.

Please let me know if anyone has tips or experience in removing and repairing the switch gear.
