Since the feedback was positve for the front door panel removal I figured Id snap some pics for the rear. This being much easier but still deserving a how to even if just to fulfill curiosity. Note this was on a roadster. I dont know how the coupe differs if at all.

Step 1. Remove the -C R O S S F I R E - door sill. This just pops straight up. No need for any tools, just grab a corner by the carpet and pull straight up. Its held in by 4 metal clips.

Step 2. Remove the 3 torx screws holding the end cap in place. This holds the upper end of the rear carpet pad in place.

Step 3. Pull out the rear felt weather strip that runs vertical from under the crossfire door sill to under the end cap with the 3 torx screws.

Step 4. Remove the plastic **** un the upper right and plastic cap in the lower left of the rear carpet pad. These are just screwed on and can be removed by hand.

Step 5. Carefully pry off the speaker grill. This is snapped on very tight and is very thin plastic. The grill can crack easy and may already be cracked from the seat or stuff being placed behind the seat. Note the condition of the grill before removal. Use a panel popper to pry off the grill starting at the top center and then the bottom center.

Step 6. Peel back the rear carpet pad and have access to the 3 nuts that hold the rear speaker in place. There is a 4 pin plug on the bottom that just unlcips. Notice the inverted speaker mounting location with the custom enclosure. You may be limited on speaker use because of this. You may also be required to fabricate mounting location depending on the new speaker you choose.

Love the color of your CF. Some questions. I am wondering where you picked up the replacement speakers and the cost. Also, the seats on your car looks like suede..did you have this done after market, why? and what did it cost?

It is SRT it has sued seats

 

It's also real easy to unscrew the four bolts holding the seat in and remove it so you have plenty of room to work. Just be careful when tilting it out not to hit the console or door frame. I suggest placing a pad or towel on both for addl protections.

I just took out the out the sill in my coupe, just lift it at the rear end and it pops out.
The end cap is by the passengers right shoulder.
Then just peel out the rounded cover that runs up the rear of the door.
Then undo the fasteners.

If you are going for access to the trunk.
You can see a foam plug, removing that gives you access to the trunk area.

 

Plastic pieces out of the shoulder part are flying everywhere. What did you use to do a clean uninstall?

 

You just take out the three screws as the previous instructions said. The part that comes off is metal.

 

but to be able to take speakers out the carpet must be out of the way and the top of the lines on the top of the wall and the shoulder needs to be removed.

 

I just pulled the carpet down and out of the top cap, folding it a little in the centre. That is how I recall I did it, the top cap stayed put.

 

I was scared to rip off the carpet.

If anyone is looking for rubber seals for their rear speakers. I found the right size on AliExpress after more than an hour of Google-ing.

Were rear speakers an accessory? Or after market?

 

They were standard on the LTD and SRT6 and the 2004's and they were omitted in the base models.
