Nah, you are making this 'Evelyn' thing up; if she was real, she would have made an appearance somewhere out there at Woodward or Halton Hills, etc.

Anyone who has an 'Evelyn' doesn't need those 'Thingys' hanging from their mirror. What's next 'blow-up blonde dolls' in the passenger seat???

Evelyn does exist, she is not a figment of Beaners imagination. Evelyn showed up at the Lakeshore GTG in May, probably unimpressed with all the XF talk she vowed never again to be so bored.

Very classy looking. That color combo looks great. I have not seen the finish on the leather in person since I went with the alcantara boot, but it looks top notch.

The shift **** is aftermarket Mercedes SLK 320 Schatz GmbH Carbon Fiber/Chrome combo Shift ****. I don't remember it being much higher than stock......no more than 1/2 in if that much.

Thanks John.....the leather is top notch with some graining to it. The color combo is dark gray with light gray stitching. It is a shade lighter than the dark slate on the seats when you put them side by side. Can hardly see the difference otherwise.

I really like the color combo. I have a black SRT, and since I have the alcantara inserts in my seats, I was wondering how this MOMO shifter with alcantara would look in combination with your leather boot on my car.

I think it would look just fine......but this vendor also offers an Alcantara shift boot.....that may be the way to go on your SRT,

I looked at that, but I was thinking that the Alcantara boot might be a little too much. I like the looks of the leather boot. I am on the fence about the momo shifter. I like the looks of your CF shifter.I would like it even better if the chrome area was done in leather or alcantara. The chrome seems to clash with the silver of the trim. It does look fine on yours, as you have the chrome accent pieces on your trim. Thanks

There's a thread on just shifter/***** where you can see a number of different *****. I think this one goes well with the finish of our consoles. The color is much darker in real life. I have it in mine, and it matches my interior perfect. I just have to get part of the leather dyed orange.

Thanks FP. I just checked that thread out and came across this boot on Mike in Orange's car

I like the combination of leather and alcantara, so I ordered one like Mike's except I went with the dark gray leather with light gray stitching like on MI1XFIRE's with the alcantara insert.

Also, I came across a discount code E30BOOTS that takes $5.85 off the order. I will just hold off on a **** decision until I get the boot in. Thanks

BMorgan,

Funny you should ask. I am currently running that exact same **** and an alcantara boot to match in my 6 speed coupe. There are a few other random members running it on autos, so I know it would work. I just got my new camera and if you PM me and remind me, I can take some pics and send them over for review. If you look in my gallery there are very detailed pics of the alcantara boot. I too worried it would be too much, but I really like the fit and finish and thinks it adds a nice touch. That Momo Raptor **** is great too.....

Finally got around to taking a pic of my boot. It is alcantara and leather. Matches great with the SRT seats. Now I just need to figure out what kind of **** I want. I think that I am starting to come down with FP-itis.
