A little Alcantara work...

First, let me say that with the economy the way it is I feel very bad for anyone that is out of a job or who had to take a pay cut. As a result of that there are a lot of very experienced people with more time on their hands looking to do different types of work. Well I recently hired a Union Carpenter to do our fabric and box fabrication and I couldn't more impressed.
We just finished up a customer's car with a Nitrous install and decided to make a removable "floor" in the hatch to allow the trunk to be usable when nitrous isn't needed. I was originally going to wrap it in plain cloth, but I had some Alcantara left over from my vette and decided it would be so much better. If I could make my bed out of this I would!
Here are some pics.

And obviously pics don't do the fabric justice.
