the driver side map light flickers or doesnt even turn on sometimes when i press the button. does anyone else have this problem. (just replaced the bulbs too and still same problem)

 

Headlights and now map light flickering, is any other bulb flickering?
Do you have a bad battery connection or even a bad battery. Possibly the problem lies in the Illumination Module.

 

The map console might be cracked like mines. I need to replace it but don't know where to get it. Any suggestions?

Same here in my '05 when I got it last year. Added a little solder to the lead on the bulb and it has acted ok since. I suspect the prongs/contacts in the socket were either dirty/pitted or worn to where they were not contacting the bulb well enough.

Could be the switch as well, but it wasn't in my case.
