I am not being that guy right now but this cannot I repeat cannot be replicated for less than $300, and that is just in parts. Assuming you aren't charging yourself labor fees and you are getting parts at cost it will still cost you $300. The I cant tell you how many pods themselves we went through to find a quality pod. The triple itself was $53 COST before we took the required steps to manipulate it. It can only be ordered from one place and we had to order ten at a time because they stopped making them. They still have some stock, but I have a whole stack of the cheap ones I would be more than willing to part with. Heck the heat gun from Germany to cut through the plastic was $185 itself. Since we are no longer making these I would be more than happy to devulge some secretes through PM, I just do not want to see you getting in over your head. All said and done we honestly made next to nothing on these pillar pods, I know it doesn't seem possible, but literally everyone of them I am proud of and the quality speaks for itself.

I wish you the best of luck, feel free to PM me anytime.

After looking things over I think I am actually going to go with a dual pillar pod instead of the triple.. I may however, still make the triple as well depending on how many of you are interested.

So let me know. Price will stay the same for either of them. I hope to start on monday or tuesday so pics are coming soon!

Correct me if I'm wrong doc but it was a paint defect, not an actual crack in the triple pillar.

no, it was more of a divit...not a crack per se, but not a paint defect either...it looked like it was pulled away from the mold kind of thing...structurely sound, just a touch of filler, and it was good as new...I like them, just got to get you down here to help with the install, but I can never see daylight with all this truckin'....lol

I'm impressed so far with the result. Especially if after it gets painted and you could still make it for the price you stated in the first post.

The price WILL stay the same!
Price will include painting in any color, and shipping.. an extra $50 for a passenger side pillar cover, painted to match.

I have not decided what color to paint this first one yet or if maybe I will sell it. NeverEnough just sold me a pillar so now I have an extra one to work with. Once I recieve it I will get to work on that one.

Lets start a list so I can figure out how many of you are really interested in getting one and please specify dual or triple.. I do not intend on making these things forever (they are a real PITA to build)

Looks good.
How about a shot with it in the car. Just for perspective.
I am looking for another pillar (I want to keep the original intact)

I perfer the stock color of the pillar if possible. I do not know if that is even possible to get to look right.

Good job.

I mean its hard to put a deadline on it. I really just want to be able to get the pods done for the people that want one now and be done with it after that..

If i can get a list of names going and just work off the list until no one else wants one that works for me..

Lets say about a month or so..

I just dont want to spend forever working on these things. It would be alot easier if I could get ahold of a bunch of oem pillars that way I can keep a stock of completed pillar pods but no such luck.

I understand that many of you will want to keep your original.. That is why I made it to fit on top of the factory pillar. when you go to sell the car you can take this off with no problem and be right back at the factory finish

As for the stock color.. my painter can do the stock color, but it still wont look the same. We will never get that same finish as the factory. It is best to choose a new color for both pillars
