this could be a long story,
I am the delevery guy for a car performance store, D T performance & wheels.. so we have about 10 to 12 universal pods, some single ,some double and some triple, i only wanted a double, we had 4 or 5 double ones for honda, ford and toyota. first i tried each one to see how it would fit on my piller molding,,they didn't. but there was one that had a little of a square side,, ,i got out the heat gun, and a 2x4 and started to shape it,, had to go up to a 4x4 to get the one side to fit snug. it took me about an hour to heat ,form and fit, don't forget you can't just shove it over the stock trim you could cut ,scratch or damage the stock trim in a way that you don't want to. then holding it in place ,you got to put it on the car so as not to have it sticking out the window, we have these little short 1/4" black screws that work great, the plastic push screws(fasteners) will not work because they pull out too easly, so once i got it formed good enough while i held it in place, another guy screwed it to the factory trim,, then once all that is done ,I had to cut a hole in the back so the wires, plugs and hoses could all come through to the gauges,, before the final install i painted both black with interior paint, so both sides would look alike, hope this helped. jim---------------------- cost $30.00
