Seat touch-up
Hello; Have 2 spots on my 'leather' passenger seat that the 'finish' has peeled away. What can I use to touch-up/dye these 2 spots to blend in? The interior is a med. grey (not charcoal). Any advice welcome
check a local ColorGlo affiliate. They do amazing repair work. http://colorglo.com/rep-locator/

i had a rubbed area on a slate gray seat. I matched a dye at the local sewing shop. Wiped it on, wiped it off. I then took a bone (printers tool) and rubbed it out to give it a finished look. I can still see the spot because I know it's there. It's unnoticeable to anyone else. Cost - $2.79
Thank you Witchal - very creative and informative
Can you get that printer's 'bone' anywhere? or what similar could work? The sewing shop - you mean a fabric and sewing notions supply store? like FabricLand ?
Many thanks for the input.

FabricLand? I bet that would be the place. As far as the bone, I haven't seen anyone selling those in years. Mine pre-dates my printing career of 35 years. Basically it's a very hard, very smooth, almost rounded plastic (bone in my case) tool. I'm sure another smooth object would work as what you'll need to do is burnish the surface of the leather.

Do you remember what color you used on the slate gray seat. Thnks
This would be a good thing to have, the spoon is probably a good substitute. Is there any " leather polish" that can be used to make the burnishing go faster?
