Default '03 slk320 V6 door sills

these fit perfectly and are basically the same sills, including the finish, as the original Xfire limited sill. so if you have a base model or have beat-up sills and would like a change from the same ol' thing. I got both of them new from mercedespartscenter.com for $128 including shipping. part # A 170 680 03 35. note too that I have 8 way passenger and driver slk seats, other than some altering of the harnesses, fit right in too. I really love these cars and their relationship to the slk and the ability to buy mercedes parts. what an array of options we have.

Awesome post.

I have a base model and was just thinking about doing the door sills.

Thanks for the info!

Looks good but if I am going to be paying $128, there better be a mercedes emblem on there!

As some of you love the AMG logo, why not go for them door sills? There are some locally who sells them here for (2 pcs) 160 USD new.

Tell me about those SLK seats - are they more comfortable than the Crossfire Limited stock seats?

We do have a slk and that is how I found out comfortable those seats are, but it has the standard mechanical leather seats like the cloth base model. my wife has the limited so I have sat in both and I still prefer the slk and that is why I put some slk seats in my base model. As far as taking long trips, the slk seats are far easier on me. another thing is that the backs aren't as thick as the limiled seat, so you can go back further or recline further and do to the perforations in the leather they are cooler. try to find a slk on a sales lot and try them out. there is a bit of a difference between the slk powered seats and the mechanical as far as feel, even though they look similar, try both if possible, you might like the mechanical better. I lucked out and got them for $400 off ebay.
