Recommendations for interior work?
As my search for the replacement car continues, one thing is certain: I won't need my Startech steering wheel to be red much longer...
Whichever car I go with, the steering wheel will have to be the slate color. I remember Karl (SRT SIX) got his interior dyed to the butterscotch color, and I believe ColorGlo did his work.
Would this work on a steering wheel w/o rubbing off?
Secondly, if I end up going with the SRT, I would like to get the beefy wheel wrapped in Alcantara to match the seats. Not sure if I want to wrap the grips or the upper and lover portions... The grips are already perforated Nappa Leather and are quite nice. Also, when I'm on the road course I'm gripping the wheel at 9 and 3, and would not want to have Alcantara there as it might show signs of wear over time.
In short, what is the best company for this type of work? As rare as the Startech wheel is (only one in the US, as far as I can tell) I want the work to be done properly, no shortcuts.
Thanks in advance...

I know people in my town that have gone to an upholstery shop that was able to dye different things wrapped in leather.... so maybe one in your town could be something to check out. If they are nice they may even tell you how to diy. Sorry I cant be of more assistance.
Hey, any assistance is good assistance. Thanks for the suggestion.
The scene in Murfreesboro isn't too stout, might have to look north to Nashville.

Color-glo will tell you if they cant warrant the application. I know they told me they would not dye the piping in my VW seats because they said the color would come off over time from getting in and out. I assume the steering wheel might get persperation wear. Have it wrapped by a uphoulstery company that specislizes in auto trim.
