Yesterday when in the process of tearing apart the dash to fix a sticky ignition problem before it left me stranded, my left air vent control got broken.The inside vent does not turn left or right with the control for the up/down control the part just fell out of it in half. I have a white interior, does anyone know where I can purchase one,or have a tear down? This is gonna bug the heck out of me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The Vanilla-colored HVAC vent outletss are hard to find, even on eBay. You might want to consider changing the Left & Right HVAC vent outlets to the Dark Gray versions, which are more readily available. That look is exactly the way the Mercedes-Benz SLK320 vent outlets were in their version of the vanilla-colored interior. I kinda like that look. And don't look to replace the XFire HVAC vent outlets with the Mercedezs-Benz version. The Left air vent outlet is definitely different - I have confirmed that fact. The Right air vent outlets may also have this issue.

Interesting thing about the listng is the Seller states he has 7 available & sold 1! Same Seller (QuirkParts) also has listed 6 new Dark Slate Gray versions, with the price under $300 - What a Deal!!
Found a 2nd eBAay Seller that has more than 10 of the Dark Slate Gray air vent bezels for under $200 per! Getting better! My Bad - This one is for a RH drive Crossfire.

Replaced the DS HVAC Air Vent & Light Switch Bezel with a new one from eBay Seller. New bezel still has that "sticky-like" feel to the surface. (Note: Our 2006 VW New Beetle had the same "sticky-like" feel to various interior parts. Same era as Crossfire.) Manufacturing process back then did a really lousy job when it came to producing a quality product. I've taken my old bezel and started prepping it for a restoration effort I'm working on.
