Well if you feel they will break something in the car you could just remove the headliner yourself. It's pretty simple just gotta take your time with it. And then just find some upholstery shop to wrap it. There has to be one shop worthy of doing a headliner up there!

You say these guys are able to do it on the crossfire without breaking any of the interior ***** used to hold the trim in place? Thats what scares me most about this whole thing.

Look on Utube, they have several videos on DIY. You just have to use a good adhesive designed for this 3M HiTack is a good one and either a good foam backed fabric or a 1/8 in foam and material of your choice. I plan on using Volara foam, it comes in 1/8n but I haven't decided on the material yet. I found some nice suedes but I might go for something a little different.

There's no way I would even consider touching this with my two hands. I am capable of assembling you a complete server system for a business, but not anything like this lol.

I'm curious how long it would take to do the headliner for these guys. The xfire is my daily driver now, so I would need it back asap technically.

Looks really nice.
I also want to redo my headliner, but I can't find a shop which can do it with good price.

Used to own Upholstery shop , key is getting old foam residue off which can be tough . Foam backing is bonded to old fabric & glued to headliner . Foam breaks down over time & basically disintegrates. Hope this helps.

Gimli - In your experience, what would be an acceptable price range for replacing the headliner in faux suede? I understand that it may vary by region/shop and if it's a $1000 job, no problem. I've just never had it done before and don't want to pay $1000 if it's a $100 job. Thanks!

Been 15 yrs since I got rid of shop , at that time we didn't use the fake suede . My xfire has it ,but was done when I bought it . We used the factory foam backed material & a headliner ran about $150 -$200 back then. Sorry I don't have more recent info .

Thanks for the reply though. I know of 1 shop in my area that does it. I'll be looking for another to at least have 2 estimates.
