Its called a bulkhead cap. Is this for a coupe?
Guys - thank you very much for replying.
ok. so it called bulkhead cover.
but Im trying to look for it "bulkhead cover" in Ebay - and i cant trace this part.
even when i search for the part number, i cant trace it .
actually the all plastic parts, all around the bulkhead cover are also in a bad condition.
I dont mind to buy a set of parts( should be around 6 -8 parts including the bulkhead cover right?) that takes care everthing on this area.
can someone here provide a link in ebay or some place else to theis part?
also can some here place a link to a part set of this area ?
thx

Go here for the parts manual. CLICK
The MB part number for the bulkhead cover is A1936901625
A193 690 16 2, the 193 in the part number shows that it was a part specifically made for the Crossfire.
Asking for this part at a Mercedes dealer may get you tarred and feathered.
Any parts on the Crossfire that are not stock items made by auto suppliers will have a Mercedes part number. They may start with many different three digit numbers, 112, 113 etc.
Fenders, headlights etc start with 193 in as much as they were not on the shelf items used to put the Crossfire together before the Crossfire was designed.

You have been given the numbers, look for a wrecked Crossfire.
I've been there . . . The bulkhead cover part is no longer available new. Your only option is to find one available at used auto parts salvage yard.
Check with this place. They had 4 coupes on their lot. Reasonable, easy to deal with. Mention that a guy from Wilmington referred you. Might result in a better deal.

Meny, Are you still looking for a bulkhead cover? I just picked three from salvage in southern WI. I'm very Forum illiterate, so I'll watch for email notification. I'm in the main crossfire group on Facebook, if you're out there. -Colleen Dunn
a salvage yard was to only place I could find that bulkhead thingy...
