power passenger seat upgrade question
I have a 2006 roadster limited. I want to upgrade my power passenger seat to a 6/8 way seat. My question is do I need a motor assembly from a SLK320 or a SLK321?
Here is a link to one on eBay. Does it look right to you??? https://www.ebay.com/itm/W170-MERCED...72.m2749.l2649
Do a search on this site, and look for "upgrade passenger seat to 8 way power" or something to that effect. I did the upgrade over the past winter. Found the part "exactly as searched " and described in the how to. Don't start trying to figure out which parts to buy, as the parts people remove it a certain way anyway. Make sure you describe it as the how to says. I paid $125. When I got it, cleaned it up, mostly fuzz, it is a MB unit. Regreased everything. Followed the transplant instructions. Took 3 afternoons which included generous coffee breaks and cabin detailing while I had the seats out. Works like a dream. My wife is short and she found she was too low. We just got the car back out for the summer and she loves it. It's all been researched and documented. Good luck. I don't know why everyone doesn't do it. Basically R&R, plug and play, a little tricky in a couple spots. Just took a look at the ebay listing. From memory it looks close. What I did was print out the how to, as it has pictures. I compared the pictures in the how to to any ebay listings. Compared all the views and that way I was sure it was the correct one. The link onehundred80 added is the article.

Thanks for the encouragement Johnny! I found that post & will be using it to guide me through the change out. I just bought my xf and I am new to all of this. I thought that I saw somewhere that the 2006 was built on the SLK321 platform rather than the SLK320 but now I can't find anything that varies that so I just want to make sure that the SLK320 seat frame is still the correct one to order.
