Noob- Removal/install driver dash (instrument and lower) (2 cars)
Noob- Removal/install driver dash (instrument and lower) (2 cars)
Hello, I just bought an 04 crossfire that came with an almost complete parts car. The previous owner had to swap out the ignition parts but didn't get the dash put back together. In my mind I thought it would be an easier task. The drivable car has missing pieces but they all seem to be present on the parts car. I've been searching the posts for help but not finding anything that will help me do this. By the looks of it, I'm going to have to remove at least the lower dash pieces and install it on the other car and figure out where everything connects. There's also a dbl gold/white wire and a black wire running from the door but the ends are cut. Y'all I need help!
First photos are of drivable car thecaof the complete dash in the parts car.
Drivable car- cluster is set in not screwed or attached.
Cut wires
Closer dash of drivable car
A few pieces left inside drivable car, a few are cracked or broken

Wow, you got a journey ahead doncha? Welcome to the best forum I've found to date. The first thing I would do in your shoes (besides asking the post you 'penned'), is go to the document collection (top right search bar maybe type in keyword 'document collection') and download the free service manual in .pdf format. There are also a multitude of forum members topics/.pdf's that might have some insight to where and how the parts go that you need hep with, to both take it apart (so you see how it should look and in what order), and then to put it back together (and what it'll look like afterwards). I admit, this will be quite a challenge (and I've owned my car since 2009). I am also sure many members will chime in to help, it is 2nd nature to quite a few members here. Good luck, I am sure your up to the challenge!

Yes I plan to! I haven't moved anything yet since I want to be able to literally remove and immediately place it into the other in the correct place(s)

Makes sense. I hadn't gotten that far yet...a bit overwhelmed with the dash disaster I figured I'll deal with the wires when I have to lol
