Default Interior light question!

Have an '06 and am wondering if the interior lights turn on when the door is opened? Mine "do not" but seems like it should. Are the two bulbs over the dash supposed to be selectable for left and right?

Interior lights turn on when the doors are open PROVIDED the selector switch located between the lights is in the correct position; slide to the right.. The left position keeps them off. With the selector switch to the right the lights work when doors opened, go off within a few seconds after doors closed AND allow them to be turned on by pushing in the adjacent switch located aft of the sliding switch. Both lights work simultaneously, not individually.

Maybe I should put my glasses on as I didn't realize there was a slider switch. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the info!

Yes you were right! I did put on my glasses this morning and "found" the slider switch. It works great now. Thanks for you help! LoL
