I just bought my 2006 Base Roadster in April.
I've read multiple posts about the interiors and I have seen nothing but silver cigarette lighters. I was wondering if base models came with a black cigarette lighter or is it supposed to be silver?
I'm guessing black to match the radio *****. I've included a pic of the interior.

You are correct, the base came with black cig ****.

 

In later model years, there was a 'mixed bag' of silver & black radio ***** & cigarette lighters. I figure Chrysler was just using up inventory as sales diminished. Fairly easy to paint ***** to match whichever color one prefers.

 

IMO the black radio ***** & cigarette lighters are unsightly due to the harsh contrasting against the surrounding silver surfaces. Replace them for a cleaner and more aesthetic look.
