Default Shift cover latch assembly

Does anyone have a parts diagram or pictures of the what the shift cover on a manual snaps into to retain the back part of the cover plate in the center console? I think I am missing a piece as the cover plate pops up from the back upon shifting. Where do the tabs circled in blue snap into?

Blue are tabs, green is where something should be

Looks like you may need the center of the console reinstalled?

No wonder the dash gets scratched all to heck if you treat the parts like this guy.
Never let the painted parts hit or rub against each other. This guy is a butcher the way he goes about a simple job, I have had these parts in and out a dozen times with no scratches, chips or broken clips.

I ended up just using VHB as it looks like there is no additional part that I was missing even when fully assembled. It just wasn't latching in. The console wasn't treated the best during its life so guessing something got bent or broken at some point. It is what it is, and nobody will know until they take it apart again.
