The leather pockets were standard on every SLK (170) model, from 1998 thru 2004. Chrysler cheapened the Crossfire by using the netting, to match the netting on the console exterior. There was a pricing difference between the 2004 SLK32 ($61,000+) and the 2005 SRT6 Roadster ($50,000+), part of which was the name branding associated with the products.
Just my 2 cents.... Dennis

I've passed looking at Crossfires to purchase because the either door pocket webbing was 'stretched' or missing. Nice to know that an after-market leather replacement is available for our doors. (Note: I should have looked at the M-B R170 doors to see what type of door pocket was used - DUH!)
I don't believe they are, based on the picture below. But if a leather door pocket was produced for the M-B R170, then a similar one for the Crossfire could be produced. Designs are similar; not the same. Curious if the UK Seller on eBay was the source for the M-B R170 door pocket.

Curious, would they fit? My old Crossfires had sagging cargo net problem and I tightened with the "knot method". My new one is perfect but if it ever was needed wonder if this replacement would actually work for the Crossfire despite slightly different door?

The link I put in my initial post is actually for a set of leather pockets that are specifically made for the Crossfire. The M-B versions probably won't fit as the doors designs are significantly different.
If you click on the link & then go to the Seller's Other Items, you will find that they offer quite a few items for various car interiors besides our Crossfires. I ended up saving this Seller on my eBay account.

AFORCE AUTO is one of my saved sellers also. They will accommodate requests for color stitching and other custom touches whenever possible. They carry two common items of interest for crossfire owners; door handle covers and a brake handle cover. (click name to access site)
