I don't have a second key FOB. It appears from this forum, there is a way to get one, even if it just a valet type. How can one go about this, since the keys and key FOBs are discontinued? I don't want to rely on just having one key for my car. thanks.

I have found MANY, many, websites (too many) have contact options for 'texting'. I also have a local company 'landline' phone (am surprised they still support our really old 'princess' wall mounted phone with it's lighted keyboard and 15' spiral cord). One of the BEST phones we ever owned, it is a pretty hardened rugged device which survived many a phone line lightning strike! Keep that ole fashioned landline, it works when storms come through and wipes out cell or IP internet phone services (which happens too often). Seriously, too many websites registration stops when they want a cell phone contact for 'texting' a validation or contact only option. Bad for older or landline option ppl across the country!

Prices have been bumped a bit to the new norm. I believe you wont find a better price though. Especially if the only key you have has no working remote, as that was an extra software license that had to be purchased.

 

FYI Just got a duplicate remote flip key from darknezz19 One day turnaround, reasonable price...highly recommend.

 

I just got a chip key in the mail today and it works great . I sent my only fob key out last Monday to darknezz19 the turn around time and the price were great to will use him for a new fob next time

Need a 2005 Crossfire Base spare fully operational FOB, Have just one with the car that I would send to replicate. Will provide Vin. What will it cost to have them done.
NewOne complete : One refurbished casing.

Just had one cut by a local locksmith and programed by the Chrysler dealer and it would start and cut off , the lock and unlock button would not work.
