Default How Many Midwesterners Had their Top Down Today?

76 degrees in the Detroit 'burbs today forced me to put it down after work, and just drove back from my racquetball club with it down at 66 degrees (windows up though).

First time top was down since November - felt great, although the side curtain "wrinkles" are back.

55-60 degrees here in Connecticut - cruised home with the top - and windows down, too (but I did have the heat up just a bit...)

I had my top down this afternoon on my drive home. It was wonderful. 85 degrees with a cool breeze. Driving past the palm trees under the clear blue sky in my freshly washed and waxed shiny black SRT6 roadster. Getting ready for the GTG this Saturday. I turned on the LCD light on the wind screen. "WINDRESTRICTOR", I got a few "that is cool looks" before i turned it off.

Well I know I live in Miami, but I'm from Toledo... doesn't that count, I mean I am a Midwesterner or was 21 years ago. Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye. Sorry I couldn't resist.

For me it is more a question of having the top up! Unless it is raining, snowing, or below 40 degrees my top is ALWAYS down!! Isn't that why we have bun warmers?

My little "girl" is absolutely the best, most fun car I have ever owned and I enjoy every mile I drive her!

It was raining on and off today, so mine didn't leave the garage.

Drove to the office with the top down (brrr!!!), thank you, heated seats. Drove home sans seat heaters. What a great day to drive topless. Sadly...cold front coming in with prospects of snow on Friday...yeah...April snow showers. Darned Canadians...why can't they keep the artic express up north??? Just kidding, eh! Ya hosers!

Took it out today for about 20 minutes on some back roads. Top was up though, ~ 45 degrees.
Decided to see what happens when you romp it from a stop with the TC off. I think I took about 5,000 miles off of the rear tires. But it was worth it.

DAMN FP !!!
Check this out...Saturday 7 a.m. rolled out of my house with the top down...hit I55 then 355 some rain twice...if you go 80 plus a pocket forms and no rain comes in with ya! then it was smooth sailing all the way to Lake Villa.

Had coffee with a buddy dropped of some parts..then it poured rain...thank god I put the top up when I got there.
Then about 10 went to Antioch...then it quit raining and put the top down about 11:30 and rolled all the way back to about A-town and had to put up the top when it started raining again.

This morning...55 degrees when I left home with the top down...got to work its 50...

And I hope it gets warm for friday...driving 6 hours to relatives...top down if no rain...and cannonballing with a silver Prowler.

Top Down...ROCKS!!
