Guys, I just got home, and took a look at the pictures. Great job Gary. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I had a good time. I agree with MABS; next time we should either meet downtown, or take a drive there. We're all local, so it should not be hard to get away for an afternoon, and do this more often. Rapp's yellow CF, we missed you. It would have been nice to see you here in Chi-Town.
Thanks for joining us for the 1st Chicago-Land Meet. I don't know who gets the 'Boobies with Wings' award, but it's going to have to go to one of the no-shows.

Looks like you had a good time, now that I'm in Virginia - Chicago even with my lead foot is is just alittle too far to make (13 hous each way - 11 if you REALLY push it) - but know where you met and sorry I couldn't join in.

Just in case nobody mentioned it, nice pictures, that was a good time, nice to meet everyone, we should do it again sometime.
Downtown or out west or up north would be nice. Think fall colors.
On the drive, I think that I would need to be in the middle or back of the pack, with the navi on and a destination loaded in. I don't have the cajones to run much over 80 by myself. I usually get better with a little time under my belt and a better feel for traffic. Heck I lost Valkryderguy within 100 yards of the entrance ramp to 290.
I look forward to the next gtg.

I can't believe that I just found this thread today, Sept 10th. I live about 15 minutes from Schaumburg. Hope you all had a good time, I'll look for the next one!
