Cool Re: Ohio owners where are you?

Seems there's a few of us in the Greater-Cleveland area - let's all get together this summer - I live out near all the wineries -

Unfortunately I won't have my XFire at a show since I can't get anything but a single guitar in it and that's a squeeze - which is fine...

I hope some more folks come forward - just yesterday I saw 2 black Coupes (too bad guys - need a Roadster) out by where I work - Highland Heights - but those and one other Oyster Gold that I saw on I271 and one has been seen in the Mentor area (maybe the same one?) - other than that I don't see too many which is completely cool w/me - but would want to get together and check everyone's rides out...could prove to be fun...

See you all soon -

My wife works in Brecksville and it was her boss that got us interested in Crossfires. She told us that we HAD to buy one. We did. Then she traded hers in on a used Benz. Seems that she couldn't handle the manual transmission.

I work in Highland Heights and have seen a couple of Crossfires on I-271 and on the local streets around work. I've finally turned over my daily driver to my 20yo son, so I'm now forced to drive my Crossfire to/from work. Oh the price we pay as parents.

There are enough of us in and around Sagamore that we ought to get together at Panini's sometime soon. I just love their hot buttered cheesesteak sandwiches.

I heard that!!!! I play as well. I did check the page. I played here and there way back in the day. After leaving that as a profession I did what most ex-musicians do....Yep, got into computers. I mean, not literally, that is a pretty small space. I agree though. One guitar in the front seat, one wedged in the back. Or 2/3rds. of a set of golf clubs. Oh the things we endure to drive these machines.........
That all sounds great though. My girl just loves going to the wineries and we have already talked about a few we would like to visit this summer. Well, you know what they say, "don't talk, do".
Sounds like it is just a matter of picking a day, place, and time.......

Yep......The cheesesteak is good. I am good friends with two of the guys that own the place so a few other friends and I hang up there on occasion. Actually, my one buddy just took delivery of his 2008 Vette yesterday. Very, very rarely will I take my CF up there though. I stand firm in saying if I get a door ding, it will be from me being careless and NOT in a bar parking lot. That being said though, it has been up there a few times.
All in all it sounds like there are a few CF's around and it might be nice to set up a get together.......

Welcome 1st.poet, I'm hoping to get my car back on the road soon (just waiting on a muffler) but a GTG on the North Coast sounds just like what the doctor ordered.

So, anyone interested in planning a meet and greet? As far as service is concerned, I had mentioned that I was looking at ganley or Klaben for service. Took it to Klaben and probably will not go back. That leaves Ganely now.
Also, I recently had my windows tinted and does it make a difference. Not only with the heat in the car but more so, the look.
I am hoping to take some pics this weekend and will post.

I`m going to be at the Brice rd cruise in Columbus,Ohio on August 9 th. I believe +fireamx will be there also. The plan is to meet at the us bank parking lot, the building with the strange looking windows on Brice rd. I`m coming early as to get the best parking spaces so we could all park together. Nobody next to us so no door dings. I know there are more than 3 of us in Ohio. There were 4 but Andrew had to leave after the drunken a**hole hit his beautiful car last year. Hope to see you there

THAT SUCK'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is why sometimes I hate taking mine anywhere and I get all kinds of $hit for it too! In my mind, yes, I bought it and I am going to drive it HOWEVER; if someone is going to damage it, it might as well be me. Over protective? Perhaps but I have enough invested into this to have the right to be.
Can't make the 9th. though. I have already commited to a golf outing.....
If anything else comes up please post......

I`m the same way , although it`s my daily driver, it only goes to work and back. If I have to go elsewhere, somebody else has to drive. People just don`t have any respect for there own property much less anyone elses. Sorry you can`t make it, it`s really fun when the sun goes down and the cops come out, and the rubber starts burning. Maybe we can all have a get together before it gets cold again.

Cool Re: Ohio owners where are you?

We can talk about meeting or pick a date - place - time - and then really meet...I live in Madison near the lake and I've seen a red coupe and a red roadster nearby in the last 2 weeks - my girl sees a gold one like mine in Willoughby so I know there are several around...

My band is busy most weekends but just maybe we can choose a date when I could make it and the weather cooperates and such...

We should do it before the snow flies folks...

Saw a black SRT-6 coupe in Westlake area last night. Rode my MC out to Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield for their bike night. Good time by the way, and I saw the coupe. I couldn't get close enough to read the license plate.........

If any of you X-Fire loving Buckeyes plan to get together some week-end this Fall, in or near Toledo, let me know and I'll drive down.

In a northern 'burb of Detroit.
